LEATHER HALF CASES FOR LEICA SL3 Open Type

• access to all slots without removing the case (HDMI port, USB-C, headphone and mic sockets)

• 2 side doors included(removable and interchangable, 1 side door is in the color of the case and the second in crocodile with inside a pocket for memory cards or other accessories like apple tag) **note that only the second door in crocodile has the inner pocket

New fitting and construction philosophy, new materials (4 layers): a new system allows us to shape the case around the camera with a new heat technique: applying a strong heat on 2 layers of leathers and the 2 inner material make the case thinner, stronger and shaped like a glow-around camera.

Vegetable Tanned Leather:

This type of natural tanning process uses tannin extracted from plants (mimosa, chestnut, quebracho, tara, etc., etc.). Vegetable tannage is a very old procedure dating back to the prehistoric period, a very slow process that is considered an art. The formulas used by each Tuscan tannery are a well-kept secret, a result of a careful blending of Tuscan culture and knowledge passed down through the years from father to son.

Each skin is unique: this uniqueness means that it does not have a uniform appearance, which represents the leather quality. The exclusive material is subject to the same wear as the person who uses our half cases; the skin will gradually acquire that worn look that every person gets with life.

Vegetable-tanned leather absorbs the traces of our life, matures, it tans under the sun, reveals the signs of time, and use as the most personal expression of naturalness and truth.
